Stockport Library Matters

Stockport Quaker Meeting house has a library with a wide range of books

on Quaker and spiritual issues.

 

Some recent additions are:

- Speaking in Quaker Meetings for Worship (to help people with this)

- the 1908 first Swarthmore Lecture on Quakerism: a religion of life

- Conflict In Meetings: Quaker Home Service

 

The library subjects range from Quaker history, biography and

testimonies through Quaker practice to the Bible and other writings to

Faith, which covers a wide range of spirituality.

Any book can be borrowed; a loans record is available.
