We are planning to have a Quiet Garden Afternoon on Saturday 29th June at the Meeting house between 12noon and 4pm, starting with a shared lunch.

Disley visit to Edale Chapel

   
  

A group of Disley Quakers visited Edale Methodist Chapel at Barber Booth and held a meeting for worship there, invited by our dear Friend Belinda Critchlow.



The chapel, founded in 1811, is part way through a major restoration project supported by grant funding. We heard about its fascinating history and place within the local Methodist circuit, as well as plans for its continuing future as “a place to be” for locals and visitors alike.



We had a great day out, expanding our circle of friendship and enjoying a warm welcome, shared picnic and amazing sunshine.

Edale Chapel

Disley Gardening Group

Disley Gardening Group come together every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, 2pm-4pm. Please come to join us and simply enjoy the garden. Gardening is not required but if you'd like to help remove the odd weed or two, we would appreciate any help you might like to offer.
