Friends will be reviewing books for enquirers and those new to Quakers that they have chosen from our library. They include recent publications such as Rhiannon Grant ‘Quakers do What?’ and Geoffrey Durham ‘What do Quakers Believe’ along with older ones such as Harvey Gillman ‘A Light That is Shining’ and Richard Allen ‘Yours in Friendship’.
What aspects are covered? Anything you would add? Would it have answered your questions when you were new to Quakers? Has it changed how you feel about your own Quakersim?
We hope to compile the Friends' reviews into a resource for the Library and continue with reviews on other topics for future Third Sundays.
