Young people at Area Meeting
It was great to see so many young people at Area Meeting in Frandley on 14th May. The group who went to Yealand camp this year had a great time and their report back included a video made by Mhairi Jackson with some highlights.
ECAM is supporting Young Friends Regional Meeting, which brings together 18-25 year olds from the North West. In March they met for a weekend at Liverpool meeting house; exploring the city, hosting a speaker and discussing their theme of "Quakers & Christianity". It was clear from the excellent report by Rin Molton and Lauren Kerins that they all enjoyed a fun and thoughtful weekend event. The next YF Regional Meeting will be in Lancaster in June.

FSC Preston Montford, Montford Bridge, Shrewsbury, SY4 1DX
We are pleased to announce that Summer School will be going ahead this year at FSC Preston Montford between the 13th and 19th of August.
The cost of Summer School this year will be £335 plus £30 for the coach, but as always there is financial help available if needed. If this is the case, please try to return your form sooner rather than later as it can take some time to organise.
If any young person would like to book a place, please fill in the online form (https://forms.gle/iu6YrLYDgn5yNzf47) or return the paper forms attached below.
Summer School is for young people who are aged between 11 and 17 and 10 year olds who will either be 11 before 1 st September 2023 or who have older siblings going too. Most young people have some Quaker family connection or are friends with Quakers. As long as you want to be part of a ‘Quaker Community’ then you’re welcome to come. If you have a friend who would like to come with you but is not a Quaker, they are also very welcome.

Marple Friends will provide lunch and then in the afternoon we will have a special session considering the meaning of membership.
